Successful start for school curriculum

The new Head Teacher of the school had the idea for an agricultural business internship. For example, on a neighboring plot owned by the NGO, land was turned into farmland. And the third-grade students of the Junior Secondary School – comparable to the 8th grade comprehensive school – learned in a pilot project how to grow crops themselves: from sowing to weeding and grooming to harvesting. Corn, pepper, spinach and plantain grew fast. The internship in the countryside was also graded and is now a regular part of the lessons, as it conveys important everyday skills. Incidentally, the tools were donated to the school by the Strassberger family from Regensburg.
